You order from the counter, seat yourself, serve yourself your coffee or soda and they bring your food to you.
So I continued to watch the people in the kitchen to see how much of what they do is actually from scratch.
I walked in and was kind of excited to see the menu boards all written out so cute and the decor was pleasant.
Aunt Karens Cafe is just a great place to stop. Very relaxing, delicious food, served very attractively.
It had no flavor, the Sausage bits were hard as a rock and it wasn't good.

Homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts. Delicious and generous portions.
The food is all supposed to be homemade however the Sausage Biscuits and Gravy was a mix that Karen openly admitted she doctor's.
I'm rather depressed to see a place with such potential be so not worth my time going back.

Best Butternut Bisque ever. Seriously, our sounds weird but it's so good. Also quick service, great food, and inexpensive.
After standing looking at the menu with no one in front of us we ordered the special of the day only to be told they were out. Back to menu...ordered a sandwich only to be told the grill gets shut down 30 mins before they close. Asked what soup they had available, was told, then ordered and paid. Then was told they were out of it. Refund please. Would have been nice if they would have started with....oh by the way we are out of the special, our grill is shut off and let me double check what soup we have left.
