The waiting area is depressing. There's no a/c and probably minimal heat in the winter. It can take a while for someone to come up to the front and get things going with your car.
They do charge for diagnostic work...like $65 an hour and have kind of a snarky sign about it. I get it. You have every right to do so, but snark never makes me feel good about a place. I don't want to be a customer at a place that's defensive right off the bat. Also, I am always going to give preference to a place that does diagnostic work for free and so is every other warm blooded American. You can hate that, but it's just reality.
Extremely rude and condescending staff who charged me twice as much for an engine diagnostic then any repair shop I've been to. They couldn't even tell me what was wrong with my car. They charge unfairly for shoddy slow work.
They did great work and kept my budget in mind. I was expecting a quote of around $3,000 for labor and parts on my truck, it came in at $1,300. They were nice to deal with and the work was done quickly and right.
I only got an oil change here and it was fine. They let me know that my brakes were looking low, which was great because when I started hearing a grinding noise, I knew what was up.
