Great food and great shopping at a reasonable price. Even Ronald Regan has eaten there...they have his signed photo on the wall. If you go you must try their peanut butter pie!
Went today with Mom and Jenna my Son's girlfriend. Excellent service,and atmosphere;and the gift shop had something for everyone. Especially considering it is the Christmas Holiday! I had a great time all the way around.And their homemade Peanut butter that I brought home for my husband is delicious!
Excellent homestyle buffet with really friendly staff. We came for lunch and were seated right away. They have a couple of carriages that you can eat in, as well. Fried chicken and soups were a favorite at our table. Essenhaus has a desperate entrance for Buffet or Menu options that are clearly labeled on the building.
Best family style restaurant there is on this planet. Delicious food. Clean comfortable dining room. Staff is friendly. Great service. Love the bakery, and all the gift items.
This place is great! It is definitely worth making a special trip for. The Amish food (which is just regular food cooked by the Amish) is really great. You can order "family-style" from the menu, or get the buffet. We got the buffet and did not leave disappointed. The price was reasonable, and service was good. If given the option between here and another place, I would definitely choose here!
